Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn
Written back in 1991, this novel introduces the now famous character, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn was recently brought to life on the Disney TV show STAR WARS Rebels - one of the first times a character from the Legends expanded universe has been canonized by Disney. Heir to the Empire is the first of the Thrawn Trilogy which is a must read for any dedicated STAR WARS fan.
Kenobi by John Jackson Miller
Kenobi is the “western” that STAR WARS fans have dreamed of. This novel chronicles the untold story of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s early days in exile on Tatooine as he watches over the young Luke Skywalker. The book is creative in its writing style and plot. STAR WARS fans won’t be disappointed with this read.
The Paradise Snare by A.C. Crispin
The Paradise Snare by A.C. Crispin is the first of a three book series that tells the origin story of everyone’s favorite smuggler, Han Solo. We imagine this book will be contradicted by the new Han Solo film set for release in 2018. The Han Solo Trilogy is an incredible series and is one of the best origin stories in the Expanded Universe.
